During the Tulip Trade Event 2024, we welcomed visitors from all over the world to Haakman Flowerbulbs BV. Nearly 250 different tulip varieties were on display, offering a colourful overview of our range in full bloom.

Visitors were also given a tour of our modern forcing facility, where around 70 million tulips are forced per season. Here, they could see the Falcon bulb planting robots by Havatec in action, which plant tulip bulbs into crates fully automatically. In addition, we showcased the automatic Furora bunching machines by Bercomex, which grade and bunch tulips quickly and accurately.
Visitors were also able to take a closer look at the lighting in our modern forcing facility, supplied by Green Simplicity, part of the GreenV group. GreenV delivers integrated solutions for professional greenhouse horticulture worldwide, and with Green Simplicity’s lighting we can provide our tulips with the right conditions throughout the forcing process. Our customers and visitors had the opportunity to see the lighting in operation, and our own team was on hand to answer their questions about it.

Of course, there was plenty of time for enjoyable conversations about tulips and flower bulbs. We look back on a successful event and would like to thank everyone who visited us.
